How to report an error
Email us at report@meritchronicle.com with the article link and what's wrong. We read every report.
How we handle it
Factual errors are corrected in the article as soon as they're confirmed. A significant correction is noted at the bottom of the piece with the date it was made; the article's "last updated" date reflects this automatically.
What counts as a correction
Factual errors — a wrong name, date, figure or quote — are corrected. Updates that add new information as a story develops are treated as updates, not corrections, and are also dated.
